Death

Death, a topic which most Asians shunned.  Some being superstitious will avoid the topic at all cost.  Some avoid the topic as it reminds them of the memories of their beloved deceased.  Whereas some have not experienced Death on any of their family and friends as yet.

So what happens after Death?

At this point, I would not touch on the happenings for the deceased, but rather on the living.  Life goes on.  At this point, the immediate family members finally settled the funeral and getting used to life without the deceased.  I would say, the smallest daily chores which the deceased does everyday will have the greatest impact on the immediate family.

What if the person who wakes you up everyday is no longer around?
What if the person who makes breakfast for you is no longer there?

And during festive season, such as the Chinese New Year and Christmas or even birthdays, the deceased will  be remembered again and past memories will overwhelm everything else.

Time can lessen the pain of losing a beloved one, but would never erased the beautiful memories.

Treasure your love ones now as nobody guarantees you a tomorrow.

To My Dearest Friend Who Lost Her Beloved Father,  

Stay strong and you can lean on us for strength.  

Remember how much you are always loved

The One saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be.

The One put his arms around you and whispered "Come to Me"

With tearful eyes as we watched you and saw you passed away

Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay.

A golden heart stopped beating.

Hard-working hands at rest.

The One broke our hearts to prove to us, 

He only takes the BEST.
